Common situation
When every platform tells a different restaurant story
The website may say one thing, Google another, delivery platforms another, and guest reviews something else. AI has to decide which version to trust.
Why consistency matters
- Common conflicts: an old menu on one platform, a different cuisine label on another, hours that disagree, a name written three ways.
- When sources disagree, a machine leans on whichever version looks most repeated — not the most accurate one.
- Conflicting signals also flatten description: the safest summary is the most generic one.
What the Guest Read examines
- The description and category that survive across public sources.
- Contradictions visible in what is publicly published about you.
- Which version of your restaurant appears to be winning.
- The correction most likely to settle the disagreement.
What it can and cannot see
- It reads public pages and search results — your site, listings, menus, and publicly visible reviews.
- It does not log into your accounts and has no direct or privileged access to any platform's internal data.
- Where a platform is not publicly readable, the read says so instead of guessing.
- Every line is written so you can verify it yourself.
What you can correct
Name, category, hours, and address written the same way everywhere you control.
One menu of record, described in your own specific language, with the other platforms pointed at it.
Your next step
Run the free Guest Read to see which version of your restaurant is currently being trusted, then correct the sources you control first.
The deeper material
Keeping sources in agreement over time is what we call Signal Integrity™. For groups, it becomes a governance question rather than a one-time cleanup.
